Below are our key school guidelines for whānau and students.
Regular attendance is required by law, and students should only be kept home in cases of illness, bereavement, or genuine emergencies. The school is not able to make exemptions under the Education Act. Whānau must provide an explanation for any absence, preferably by phone, email, or through the Parent Portal. Persistent or unexplained absences may result in follow-up from the Board, and in serious cases, can lead to further action as outlined in legislation.
