ERO Reports

The Education Review Office (ERO) carries out regular checks to ensure schools have safe and effective practices in place. For a new charter school like Christchurch North College, the process includes:

• Pre-establishment check: Conducted before the school opens; no report is published. Confirms the school is ready to operate.

• New School Verification Check: Conducted after the school has started. ERO reviews policies and practices for child protection, health and safety, and staff suitability.

As this is the first check of a new Charter School | Kura Hourua, no report is published.
