All fees are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). Tuition fees are subject to changes in Government legislation relating to finance or GST.
LONG-TERM INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
12 Months – 4 Terms
Student visa and insurance required
Tuition Fee: $13,000 (including GST and the Government Levy for International Learners)
Administration Fee: $600 (non-refundable)
3–12 Months
Student visa and insurance required
Tuition Fee: $3,500 per term (including GST and the Government Levy for International Learners)
Administration Fee: $400 (non-refundable)
SHORT-TERM INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (MINIMUM 4 WEEKS)
Visitor visa and insurance required
Weekly Tuition Fee: $400 per week (including GST and the Government Levy for International Learners)
Administration Fee: $400 (non-refundable)

INSURANCE AND IMMIGRATION
Immigration and Insurance Requirements
International students at Christchurch North College must have current travel and medical insurance that meets New Zealand law and the Code of Practice for International Students.
What Your Insurance Must Cover
- Medical Care: Covers illness and injury while in New Zealand.
- Travel: Covers travel to, from, and within New Zealand. Any travel outside New Zealand as part of the learning programme must also be included.
- Repatriation and Funeral Costs: Covers returning the student home in the event of serious illness, injury, or death.
- Duration: Insurance must be active from the day the student leaves their home country until they return home.
Insurance can be arranged through Christchurch North College (Uni-Care Travel and Medical Insurance) or independently by families. Proof of insurance is required before enrolment.
Visa and Attendance Obligations
Students and parents must:
- Comply with all visa conditions set by Immigration New Zealand (INZ).
- Attend school regularly and actively participate in learning.
- Notify the school immediately of any changes to enrolment, living arrangements, or guardianship.
The school is required to monitor attendance and engagement and report any breaches to INZ if necessary.
REFUND POLICY
Refund policy conditions will be provided with the application forms.
FEES PROTECTION
The Board of Christchurch North College guarantees to repay all outstanding fees to international students in the unlikely event that the school is unable to continue functioning.
UNIFORM
Year 7–13 students: Approximately $400.
Students must supply their own socks (plain black for boys and white for girls) and shoes (black leather).
STATIONERY AND DEVICES
At Christchurch North College, we use computers for all learning. Students can use school computers on site or bring their own device. No stationery is required.
